Luquaimat

Small, round and deliciously moreish, you could say that they’re Dubai’s version of a donut, but even better! Flour, sugar, and butter are mixed shaped into balls and deep fried. Drizzle them with date molasses and top with sesame seeds and you have a perfect sweet treat. Whatever time of day you enjoy them, you’ll never have enough!

Machboos

Regarded as the national dish of the UAE, no visit to Dubai is complete until you’ve enjoyed this traditional meal. Meat, such as chicken, lamb, or camel, with vegetables and spices are layered with rice and slow cooked until delicious. The exotic spices such as cloves, cardamom, saffron, black lime, bay leaves and nutmeg dance with your tongue, this is the real taste of the Emirates!

Kunafa
