Top Five Beaches in Jamaica!
There’s nothing better than leaving the plane on a Caribbean island and hitting the beach! Jamaica is the perfect place to sit back and relax with loved ones and family! Jamaica has over 50 beaches to explore and we’ve picked the best of them:
Doctors Cave beach- MoBay
The story behind this beach is as captivating as its beauty! A doctor, believing that there were healing properties in the area decided to open a beach club, and this popular spot is still alive and well! It was previously accessible by cave, however a hurricane destroyed this entry to this stunning beach. There’s a small entry fee, which contributes to its upkeep. Here you’ll find a clubhouse, beach bar and more for a full day of beach fun!
Treasure Beach – South Coast
For those looking for something more authentic, Treasure beach is the perfect spot! This quiet location is where you’ll experience a taste of the real Jamaica. Spend time with local people, enjoy freshly cooked local food, and enjoy a local party in one of the clubs here. It’s a far cry from the busy tourist packed beaches and it is absolutely gorgeous!
Seven Mile Beach – Negril
The longest beach in all Jamaica and every single inch of it is stunning! If you want to avoid the tan lines, you’re welcome to enjoy some nude sunbathing here! There’s plenty going on with activities for all ages, and all manner of restaurants serving freshly cooked seafood and jerk chicken. So much so that you’ll need to visit time and again just to experience it all!
Cornwall Beach – MoBay
A short walk away from Doctors Cove, you’ll find the more laid back Cornwall beach. With smaller crowds you’ll have plenty of space to catch some rays or take a swim in the crystal waters. Again, there’s a small entry fee again to contribute to the upkeep of this amazing location. On Sundays, enjoy a bottomless Appleton Rum mug and enjoy the Jamaican sunset!
Dunn’s River Falls Beach
This beautiful location is made even more special by the waterfalls that run to the sea. Spend time exploring the falls and enjoying the incredible views unlike anywhere else on the whole island. If you have the chance, take time to explore the falls themselves, or simply relax on this gorgeous beach and watch the sun go down with an ice cold beer.
