Overview

Everyone will remember this tour as something sensational during their vacation in Cancun. Tons of goldfish, live coral reefs, turtles in their natural habitat and an impressive wreck is just a taste of what you’ll discover in this 2-hour tour in Cancun. The entire area does not exceed 3 metres deep, with calm waters and little to almost null water current — prime snorkeling conditions!

The departure location is approximately 5 minutes away by boat. This is a half day activity where 1 hour is used for roundtrip transportation, 30 minutes of snorkeling skill classes and 2 full hours out in the ocean, snorkeling at the different sites.

The tour starts at the coral reef “Punta Sam” — one of the best preserved in the whole area, full of fish and marine life. The reef is between 2.5 to 3.5 meters deep and has little ocean current, with a great variety of marine species. You’ll continue to Pasto Marino, this is the point where you’ll get to see turtles, rays, manta rays, horse mackerels, pigeons, saws, barracudas, and all kinds of exotic life. A unique opportunity to swim with turtles in their natural habitat. The tour takes you to 2 Underwater Museums, “The Blessings” and “The Family,” which show the interaction of underwater art and the environment of the Caribbean Sea. Banks of fish, turtles, and manta rays commune around these gigantic works of art, with a spectacular turquoise blue background of the Caribbean Sea. Finally you visit the Sunken Ship: full of life and perched on a sandy beach. Located in a natural pool of turquoise water full of even more marine life, coral, and multicolored fish.
